    Note: The Arizona Department of Revenue and state statute A.R.S. §15-342 does not permit ECA (extra curricular activities) tax credit dollars to pay for Community Education programs such as Kids Club and Higley Youth Sports League.   • Kids Club Childcare Programs to Close

    With the Governor's increased directions to the community, the Higley District has made the difficult decision to close the Kids Club's childcare program. The last day will be Friday, April 3, 2020. We understand some families still need childcare during this time. For those who need assistance securing childcare, here is an online list.

  • Kids Club Payments during School Closures

    Families already signed up for Kids Club prior to school closures will not be billed for the dates campuses are closed.

    At this time, families cannot register for any remaining Kids Club before- or after-care. If this changes, we will inform you.

  • Higley Youth Sports League Update

    Due to school closures, the girls basketball season will be cancelled for this year. Families will receive a call about a refund. The cheer showcase is postponed at this time.

  • Higley Unified School District Kids Club Camp to open during closures

    Higley Unified School District will offer a Kids Club Camp 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27.

    The camp is open to all families in need of care for children ages 3-12. The cost will be $20 daily, with a $25 registration fee for new families. The daily fee will be waived for children of healthcare providers and first responders. Families that need support this week, March 16-20, can call for assistance. If you are new to Kids Club, you will need to call us to make arrangements to register.

    Camp will operate at a 1:5 ratio, with one adult assigned to a group of five children. The adults (one per shift) will remain with the same children throughout the weeks. Staff will continue to provide extra cleaning throughout the day, as well as thorough cleaning each evening.

    Camp will be held at Chaparral Elementary School, 3380 E. Frye Road, Gilbert.

    Registration is now open at On the registration page, families must select "Chaparral" under Kids Club to start the process.

  • All break camp registrations open

    Registration for all the upcoming break camps – fall, winter and spring – is open! Students must be registered for Kids Club prior to participating. Registration fee: $50 if not already enrolled. Daily rate: $40. Families must provide a sack lunch.

  • Kids Club

    Kids Club is excited to welcome all families to the 2019 - 2020 school year. We provide before and after school care programs and Kids Club Camps during school breaks to enhance the learning that takes place during the school day for students in preschool through sixth grade.

    Kids Club is available at our two Early Childhood Development Centers and at all our elementary schools from 6:00 a.m. until school begins and directly after school until 6:00 p.m.
