• Parents and students,
Hello and welcome to 4th grade!

My name is Miss Sopko and this will be my 2nd year being part of Power Ranch's amazing 4th grade team. I am eager to start the 2018-2019 school year and I cannot wait to meet all of you!

I am originally from Iowa, and then acquired my Elementary Education degree from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. After college, I decided to venture out of the Mid-West and start my career in Arizona! I am very grateful that Power Ranch has given me the opportunity to do just that. I have loved exploring this area and have been enjoying all of the wonderful things Arizona has to offer. In my free time, I love to read, be active outside, and spend time with my friends. Also, Go Huskers!!

I decided to become an educator because I know that teaching is more than just a job; it is an experience that can change lives. I have a strong desire to continuously reach out to children, get to know them on a personal level, and help them to become the best version of themselves. I believe that when parents and teachers can work together as a team we can provide our students with the tools necessary to be successful. I strive to create a classroom environment where all of my students feel comfortable being themselves and are ready to come to school every day to learn and work hard.

Since we are a team, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child’s education. I respect any input you may have for your child's individual needs.
    Let's have a great year!
