  • Governing Board approves hiring of HHS principal, assistant principal

    Higley Unified School District Governing Board approved Wednesday, May 15 the hiring of Alan Fields as principal of Higley High School. The board also approved the hiring of Nicole Johnson as assistant principal.

    Mr. Fields currently serves as principal at Kenai Central High School in Soldotna, Alaska (Kenai Peninsula Borough School District), a position he has held since 2005. He was previously the assistant principal from 2002-05.

    Ms. Johnson currently serves as a fine arts teacher at Higley High, a position she has held since 2013. Ms. Johnson received her master’s degree in educational administration in December 2018. She also holds a master’s degree in secondary education and a bachelor’s degree in arts/media arts.
    Both will begin July 1.

  • 2019-20 Back to School Information

    Classes begin July 22 for the next school year. Families can find back-to-school information, including event dates and school supply lists, on our new webpage. Additional details will be released over the summer. Be sure to download the Higley App for information and update your e-mail address with your campus.

  • Enrollment information for 2019/2020 

    If you wish to enroll for the 2019/2020 school year prior to June 3, please visit the school of your choice.

    If you wish to enroll your child for the 2019/2020 school year between June 3 and July 5:

    Elementary school enrollment packets will be accepted at the District office 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Please schedule an appointment to submit the packet by calling 480.279.7020. Elementary school offices will reopen July 8.

    Middle school and high school enrollment packets will be taken at the school during their summer open hours.

    School begins July 22.

  • Register My Athlete

    In an attempt to streamline the athletic clearance process, Higley High School is going paperless. Using the enclosed instructions, you will now complete the athletic clearance packet electronically at Register My Athlete.com. All forms can be viewed and signed electronically, and additional required forms (i.e.-physical forms, etc.) can be uploaded to your account. Please follow the enclosed instructions to register your students for athletic clearance, for the 2016-2017 academic school year. If you have any questions, contact the technical support department from Register My Athlete, or contact the Athletic Department at (480) 279.7317
