ParentSquare is our district’s official communication platform that brings all school and district messages into one place. With ParentSquare, you can receive alerts, updates, and reminders by email, text, app notification—or however works best for you.

Good news—you don’t have to! ParentSquare automatically generates your account using the email and phone number you provided to your school. You may download the app (available in iOS or Android) or visit parentsquare.com/signin to get started and follow the prompts to sign up.

If you have more than one child, ParentSquare will automatically bring all your children into one account.

• Use your ParentVUE login information to sign in to ParentSquare. ParentSquare will send a confirmation email to activate. Your email/phone number must match the contact details in the school’s database for this to work!
• If your contact details aren’t recognized, check ParentVUE to confirm they are up-to-date.

Just use the email or phone number you gave the school to sign in. If you need help, please click “Forgot Password” on the sign-in screen, or log in to your ParentVUE account to make sure we have the correct contact information on file.

Please allow 24 hours for all updates to go through our system.

The app isn’t required; without downloading the app, you will still receive emails and texts and you can respond through a dashboard online, BUT the app is the easiest way to stay connected. With the app you can:

• Get instant alerts
• See calendar events
• Fill out forms
• Message teachers
• Customize your user preferences (language, notifications, and more) on-the-go

ParentSquare defaults to send a digest at the end of each day.

You can choose your preferences through ParentSquare settings:

• Instant: Get notifications right away.
• Digest: Get a single summary of all messages at 6 p.m. daily.

Messages may come by email, text, or app notification—you decide!

• Classroom & Group Posts – Updates from your child’s teachers, clubs, or teams.
• School-wide Messages – Newsletters and reminders from your school.
• District Messages & Alerts – Important updates for all families (like emergencies, weather delays, etc.).
• Direct Messages – One-to-one communication with teachers or staff.

Yes! ParentSquare makes it easy to send private, two-way messages with teachers, staff, or coaches. You can also choose your preferred language, and ParentSquare will automatically translate messages.

Yes! Middle school and High school students will use a platform called StudentSquare, which works very similarly to ParentSquare but is designed specifically for students. Just like ParentSquare, StudentSquare provides a safe, monitored space where staff can message entire classes or communicate individually with students as needed.

1. Log in to your main ParentSquare account.
2. If you have unverified contact information, you will see one or more contact cards under, “Action Required: Confirm Your Account Information.”

Note: You can also click “Confirm Contact Info” on your Account page to start the process.

3. Confirm Email and/or Phone. A verification code will be sent to the email or phone number. Enter this verification code in ParentSquare to confirm.
4. Confirm Child(ren).
5. Confirm your name and school affiliations by clicking Yes, this is me.

Is your phone number wrong? Do you want to change your primary email? Is your name misspelled? Do you see information for a student who’s not yours?

Contact details in ParentSquare are managed by your school and synchronized from ParentVUE records. Once you update your information in ParentVUE, changes will automatically be reflected on your account in ParentSquare.

If you have more than one ParentSquare account (for example, because your name, email, or phone number didn’t match), you can combine them into one. What to do:

1. Log in to your main ParentSquare account.
2. Click your name in the upper right and select My Account.
3. Click Combine with another account.
4. If other accounts match your verified email(s) or phone(s), click Combine Accounts.
5. If the account you want doesn’t show up, click Combine Another Account and sign in with that account.
6. Choose the name you want to use, then click Combine Accounts.

Now you’ll see all your students in one account, and you can log in using any of your email addresses or phone numbers.

You can’t combine a staff account with a parent account, but you can easily switch between them. What to do:

1. Log in to either your staff or parent account.
2. Click your name in the top right to see your account(s).
3. Under Switch Account, click +Add another account.
4. Log in to your other account.
5. Now you can switch between accounts anytime by clicking your name and choosing the one you want.

If you are missing a child/school, it may be because:

• Your contact information is inconsistent across the school’s student information system.
• You have more than one ParentSquare account with different contact information.

What to do:

• If you’re missing kids, schools or contact info in ParentSquare, first try confirming your account information.
• If the information is still missing, you may want to try combining your existing accounts.
• If neither of these steps are successful, please reach out to your school.

ParentSquare allows you to toggle between your various children’s profiles and school communications so messages for different children don't get confused. This means each child has their own unique dashboard with communications only relevant to their classes, teachers, etc.

To look at another child’s communications you will need to toggle to their specific school profile. Even children attending the same school will have separate profiles linked to that school.

If you are using the web browser:

• On your home page, click your name and select “My Account.” Then, select “Language Settings.”

If you are using the mobile app:

• From your home screen, click the triple bar in the top left corner. Click on “Account,” then “Preferences,” then “Language.”

Select your preferred language and save.
