If you've been walking around your student's school campus, you may have noticed a few improvements.
While students and staff were away for summer break, Higley Unified School District's Maintenance and Operations teams were busy completing projects across several campuses. Summer provides an important opportunity for maintenance teams to complete larger projects while campuses have fewer students and staff on site.
Projects completed over the summer included:

Chaparral Elementary School: New flooring installation

Higley High School: Tennis court and field lighting improvements
- Power Ranch Elementary School: Fencing and parking lot improvements

San Tan Elementary School: Fire lane improvements

Cooley Middle School: HVAC improvements

Williams Field High School: Painting and HVAC improvements

Sossaman Middle School: Painting

Gateway Pointe Elementary School: Painting

Coronado Elementary School: Fire lane and HVAC improvements
These projects are part of HUSD's ongoing work to maintain its schools and provide students and staff with safe, welcoming spaces to learn and work.
