Students sit in caps and gowns facing a stage, waiting for graduation

Higley Unified School District is celebrating a successful 2025–26 school year, reflecting on the following highlights accomplished by students, teachers, staff, administrators, families, and community partners:  

2025-2026 School Year Highlights: 

  • State Assessment scores for HUSD students were the second highest of all districts in Maricopa County, outpacing neighboring districts in the East Valley. 

  • HUSD became a District to Watch, with both middle schools achieving their Schools to Watch designation. 

  • Six HUSD teachers and administrators were recognized as the best in their field from statewide organizations. 

  • Schools across the district hosted collaborative events, building cross-campus connections between students and staff across grade levels. 

  • Dozens of state championship titles were claimed by athletics teams, performing arts programs and career technical student organizations across the district. 

Class of 2026: 

  • HUSD graduating seniors cumulatively earned more than $47.7M in scholarships to attend colleges and universities. 

  • Twenty-eight HUSD graduates committed to play sports for colleges or universities. 

  • 585 students are going to colleges or universities, 18 will be entering military service, and 41 will be serving church missions. 

  • HUSD students earned more than 600 industry certifications through career and technical education courses this school year. 

  • More than 250 seniors graduated with a 4.0 or higher GPA.
