Celebrate Fine Arts at HUSD's Annual Festival

Higley Schools, Ariz.- The Higley Unified School District (HUSD) invites families, community members, and arts supporters to celebrate student creativity at the annual HUSD Fine Arts Festival, held Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Williams Field High School.

This free, family‑friendly event showcases outstanding visual and performing arts from students across the district, including dance and music performances, theatre, student artwork displays, and hands‑on activity stations. Attendees can enjoy interactive experiences such as rock decorating, chalk art, recycled art, face painting, and an instrument petting zoo.

The festival also features a variety of food trucks, including popular local favorites like U-Thirsty, Kona Ice, Mugsy Dogs, and Waffle Crush.

Performances will take place throughout the morning across multiple stages, with highlights including Higley High Advanced Elite Dance, Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ, Williams Field High Thespians, Centennial Choir, San Tan Music Club, The Legendaries Orchestra, and several “Trash Can Band” ensembles from district schools.

This event also celebrates student artwork with a district Art Show, and festival t-shirts featuring artwork selected for the official Fine Arts Festival poster, created by an 11th‑grade student from Higley High School. T‑shirts will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting future fine arts programming.

The community is invited to join HUSD in recognizing and supporting the district’s talented young artists. Additional event details can be found at husd.org/artsfest
