  • Preschool Information & Enrollment Night – June 20, 6 p.m.

    Higley Unified School District’s Early Childhood Development Centers provide a loving, safe, and nurturing child-centered educational experience. Certified Early Childhood teachers provide meaningful and developmentally appropriate educational experiences for your child’s intellectual, social, emotional, creative and physical development.

    There are a few spots still available in programs for the 2018/19 school year.

    Learn about Kinder Prep, Brilliant Beginnings, Highly Gifted/THINK! Academy, Spanish Dual Language and Mandarin Dual Language preschool programs during an information and enrollment night 6 p.m. June 20 at Cooley Early Childhood Development Center, 1100 S. Recker Road, Gilbert, 85295.

  • Kids Club Registration 18/19 School Year Now Open

    Families planning to use the HUSD Kids Club before- and after-school program next school year (18/19) can now register. Remember: All students must have NEW emergency card and registration forms complete for the new school year. Students participating in 2018 Kids Club summer camp are using the 18/19 registration/emergency cards and will not need to complete those again, but will need to sign up for their Kids Club school year program. All families must pay the $50 school-year Kids Club registration fee per child.

  • Register today for summer programs!

    Join Higley Unified School District's Community Education Department this summer for fun-filled activities, including summer camp, enrichment classes, and sports camps. High school summer school available for credit recovery or acceleration (P.E.), as well as a pre-algebra boost course.

About SECDC

  • Higley Unified School District is proud to offer quality early learning programs in our state-of-the-art Early Childhood Development Centers on the campuses of Cooley and Sossaman Middle Schools, which opened in 2013.

    Both Centers offer three Early Childhood programs to fit the interests and schedules of all families. Brilliant Beginnings is available for children ages 3-4. We will also offer a Kindergarten Prep program for children ages 4-5 and our STARS program for special needs students.

    Classes are taught by certified early childhood educators.
