Higley Unified School District offers flexible opportunities for both Certified and Classified substitutes. All substitute roles are filled as needed and assignments are not guaranteed. We partner with Educational Services Inc. (ESI) to manage all substitute teaching positions.

- ESI will complete your onboarding and set you up in Frontline/Aesop to view assignments at HUSD.

Pay Rates
Certified Substitute Teachers (Teaching Certificate or Substitute Certificate Required)

| Monday / Friday | $190/day | $95/day |
| Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday | $170/day | $85/day |
*Long Term Position: Days 1-20: $170.00/day. Starting Day 21: $190.00/day*
Classified Substitute Assignments

| Paraeducator II | $18.05/hr |
| Paraeducator I - Preschool Only | $16.95/hr |
| Health Aide | $17.50/hr |
*Certified Substitutes who accept a Classified assignment will be compensated at the hourly rate designated for the Classified position not the Certified substitute rate*
