My name is Tracy Carlucci and I am excited to be your fourth grade teacher here at Power Ranch Elementary! I am looking forward to a year filled with lots of creative thinking and inspired learning. My philosophy of learning is a simple one: #OTI: Observe, Think, Innovate! I hope to pass this idea onto my students as they develop the skills necessary to become critical listeners, focused scholars, and innovative problem-solvers.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where I participated in gifted education programs most of my life. I had amazingly passionate teachers who inspired me to develop a true understanding of the power of education. After high school, I moved to Long Island to attend Stony Brook University where I studied Sociology and Mathematics. I then attended St. John's University in Queens where I completed graduate programs in Sociology, Mental Health Counseling, and Gifted Education.
I have two children of my own. My son, Giovanni, is a graduate of the University of Advancing Technology and works in the field of Cybersecurity. My daughter Joie is a server in Downtown Gilbert and loves interacting with as many people as she possibly can in one day. I have been in Arizona since 1996 and find myself loving it here more and more as the years fly by. I have made such special friends and absolutely love watching my students grow throughout their elementary school years.
