My name is Tina Quinonez. This is my 23rd year teaching, and 20th year in HUSD. I taught at Power Ranch for 4 years, where I discovered my love for teaching middle school students. I taught 2nd grade, then moved up to the middle school. I've taught grades: 1-3 and 6-8. Prior to working at Higley, I worked in Phoenix teaching a 2nd/3rd grade bilingual/ESL class. I was also fortunate to substitute teach while living overseas in Penang, Malaysia.

I’ve been a Chaparral Shark since it opened. I'm on the Leadership Team at Chaparral. I am also the vice president of the Higley Education Association which is our teacher union.
