My name is Nancy Foote. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University of Chicago (major – chemistry; minor - physics); and a Master of Education Degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in Elementary Education. I hold a National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics. I obtained my Principal Certification through University of Phoenix.
After being an Industrial Chemist for The Sherwin William Company in Chicago Illinois for five years, I moved to Arizona and switched careers. I have been in education for 32 years. I have been primarily a teacher, but also worked as a principal, a curriculum coach and a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment). For the last 16 of those 32 years, I have been in the Higley District. Currently, I am the Conceptual Physics teacher at Sossaman Middle School.
My mother-in-law lives with my husband and me. We spend our time traveling and especially enjoy going on cruises. I like reading, running in 5K and 10Ks, and spending time with out 13 grandchildren.
