My name is Melanie Schneider and I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University. I hold two master's degree; one in educational administration and one in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in elementary reading. I have been in education for over 15 years and I've loved every moment of it!
My family and I moved to Arizona in 2010. My husband and I have been married for over 30 years and we have five amazing children; four boys and one girl. We are also blessed to be the grandparents to three beautiful granddaughters.
I have been in the Higley Unified School District since 2010. I've taught first and second grade and more recently have been the Literacy Coach at Centennial Elementary. Although my teaching career did not begin in Arizona, HUSD is definitely the place that I consider home.
