    Dr. Dawn Foley is an Arizona native and 4th generation educator. She has been in the field of education for 23 years. Dr. Foley has as vast background in education and has broad teaching experiences at both the preK-12 classroom and university level. Dr. Foley has spent the last 13 years as a district level administrator where she has dedicated her work to leading principals and teachers in the areas of curriculum and instruction.

    Dr. Foley earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy Instruction, from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Her expertise is in the areas of language and literacy. Over the years, Dr. Foley has served on several state level committees. She has also presented at numerous state and national educational conferences.

    Dr. Foley is a dedicated professional who values collaboration and has exemplary work ethics. She is an inclusive leader who is deeply committed to supporting students, employees and families in the Higley District.

    Dr. Foley is also a wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family.
