Chief Master Sergeant Stevens is a 2007 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Professional Aeronautics. She enlisted in the Air Force in 1998.
A career Air Force maintenance technician and manager, Chief Stevens served in a multitude of positions within the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory career field and other base support functions, culminating as squadron superintendent at an aircraft maintenance squadron supporting four types of fighter aircraft. Chief Stevens' deployment experience includes a combat tour in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Following retirement from active duty in June 2022, Chief Stevens pursued her dream of becoming a high school teacher when she worked for Dobson High School's AFJROTC program. Chief Stevens was graciously welcomed to Higley Unified School District and Higley High School in 2023 where she is one of two Air Force JROTC instructors.
