Hello, my name is Jennifer Gomez, and I am a passionate foreign language teacher. Originally from Colombia. My journey in education began with a deep fascination for languages and cultures, which led me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Language from the University of Caldas
After completing my undergraduate studies, I decided to embark on an adventure and explore teaching opportunities abroad. The United States, with its diverse population and rich educational landscape, caught my attention. I set my sights on Maine, a state known for its natural beauty and welcoming communities. In Maine, I spent ten years and three of them as a foreign language teacher, imparting my knowledge and love for languages to enthusiastic students.
To further enhance my teaching skills and deepen my understanding of language acquisition, I pursued a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Southern Maine. This advanced program provided me with invaluable insights into language pedagogy, curriculum development, and intercultural communication. I am grateful for the enriching experiences I have had as an educator and look forward to continuing my journey, inspiring a love for languages and culture.
