Hi! My name is Mrs. Christina Madril and I’m so excited to be part of the Cortina Tigers Team! More importantly, I’m thrilled to be your Art teacher. It’s going to be a wonderful year full of fun learning and messy adventures as we CREATE works of art!
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am married to my high-school sweetheart of almost 20 years and together we have the most beautiful, kindhearted, crazy kids; Bella, Mia, Raeya and Luke and two adorable Labradors, Kodi and Mav. I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. I even attend Higley Elementary when all that surrounded us was fields, farms and HUSD consisted of one school!
I love exploring all our state’s wonder, as well as, seeing the beauty in other places by traveling and sightseeing, especially with my family. I attended Arizona State University and graduated in 2004 with my B.A in Elementary Education. I have been in the education arena for 23 years and I am now extending my love of learning by venturing into the Arts! I'm excited for this new opportunity.
