Welcome to my page! I’m Mrs. H-Smith and I am starting my 2nd year here at San Tan and in Higley School District. I am so proud to be a 2nd year Scorpion! This year I will be San Tan's K-2 Resource teacher. This will be my 15th year teaching! I am so excited for the learning to begin!
I have lived in Arizona for 19 years now, but I am originally from New York; shoveling snow is hard work so here I am enjoying the year-round sunshine! I am married and I have 2 adult children. I love to read, cook, exercise, travel, and go to concerts.
My educational philosophy is this: There is no such word as can’t in the education of children! All children can learn and will learn in an environment that makes learning fun and inspiring! It's going to be a great year!
