Welcome to 4th grade!! I am excited to meet you! My name is Christina Tway and I am a graduate of Arizona State University. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My teaching philosophy is that each child should feel supported, safe, and loved. It is important that each student learns and grows academically and has a relationship with their teacher and peers. Students should feel loved and a part of a family in my class.
My passion for teaching started at a young age. When I was a little girl I loved to play as a teacher and have pretend students. My fifth grade teacher is who inspired to become one. I am still in contact with her to this day. She showed me how much of an impact you can make on your students by pushing me to learn and grow academically and showing me love and care.
I moved to Arizona with family in fall of 2018. I came from California and fell in love with Arizona. I love being outdoors and going on adventures. I enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, and camping. I also enjoy country swing dancing and spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait to get to know you this year! Lets have some fun!
