Gateway Pointe Elementary

Hello, I'm Ms. Ames. I grew up in the Huachuca Mountains located in Sierra Vista, Arizona, and loved playing the role of a teacher at a young age. Shortly after my daughter was born, I pursued my childhood dreams and hit the books at Cochise College, where I received my Associate of Arts in Elementary Education. My determination and hard work awarded me high honors upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona. 

I worked for 3 years at Paragon Science Academy as a 3rd-grade teacher. This will be my 4th year in the teaching profession.  I am prestigious and gritty, searching for new ways to grow and learn. In the future, I plan to continue my education for a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. When I am not in the classroom, I am the biggest bookworm and get lost in bookstores. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
