    9/21-23 – Attention Class of 2023! As a reminder, Jostens will be here in the cafeteria during all three lunches today for Senior Order Day. Please bring a $50 deposit to place your order for caps & gowns, graduation announcements and other graduation products. 


    9/21-9/23 Hey Knights! Homecoming is Saturday, October 22nd from 9 - 11pm in the aux gym . The theme is the “Knightmare Before Homecoming!” Tickets are now $40 till October 9th. Get your tickets now before prices change! You can purchase these tickets on gofan.co If you choose to bring a guest from outside the kingdom, please make sure to get a guest pass from the bookstore.


    9/23-11/3 Attention Knights and Best Buddies club members. Want to participate in the Best Buddies Talent Show? Sign up at room 202 or email Mrs. Sharp. The Talent Show will be held on November 3rd at 6:00 pm at the HCPA. Tickets are on sale now at gofan.co or look for the purple signs for the QR code!


    9/23 Last night, your JV Knights football team rallied for a hard-fought win, 20-14, against the Gilbert Tigers. The defense came up big with an interception by cornerback Aidyn Frazier. The Knights struck first with a 70-yard touchdown run by running back Larry Halvorsen on the first play from scrimmage. Jayden Olcott got on the board for the Knights with a 15 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Andre Gonzales. The Knights retook the lead with a game winning 60-yard touchdown pass from Andre Gonzales to Wide Receiver Drake Walton. The defense secured the win with a sack on 4th and long by Defensive End Xavier Springer. Next week the JV Knights host the Casa Grande Cougars. Go Knights!


    9/23 Please congratulate Liam Hossack, Dylan Johnson, Jaxon Mundt, and Stef Sandez for earning their SkillsUSA National Statesman at the WLTI conference in Washington DC. Less than 1% of the 380,000 members of SkillsUSA earns this honor for civic engagement, advocacy, and knowledge of SkillsUSA. SkillsUSA Higley Graphic Design would also like to recognize Lili Valencia for representing Arizona, HUSD, and Higley HS as the SkillsUSA National Secretary by facilitating sessions at WLTI and speaking at various events held throughout the week.


    9/23 SkillsUSA Higley Graphic Design had four students elected to serve over 4,000 SkillsUSA Arizona members in Region III. Jaxon Mundt was elected SkillsUSA Arizona Region III President, Olivia Grano was elected SkillsUSA Region III Vice President, Liam Hossack was elected SkillsUSA Arizona Region III Secretary, and Dylan Johnson was elected SkillsUSA Arizona Region III Treasurer. These individuals add to the legacy of leadership for Higley Graphic Design, now having 15 regional officers over the past four years for SkillsUSA Arizona Region III. Congratulations, Jaxon, Olivia, Liam, and Dylan for your accomplishment!


    9/21-9/23 The chess club started a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time. 20 people came and played chess. If you want to join us, we will meet in room 422 after school tomorrow, Friday, and play chess until 3:30. Come and have fun!
