My name is Mr. Brehony, but students can call me "Mr. B." I will be your Computers Special Teacher this year. I am in my 18th year here at Higley Unified School District, and I have taught 5th Grade for 14 years of that time. In 2018, the wonderful opportunity to change direction presented itself, and I am now enjoying teaching Computers to all of our students here at Centennial!
I am originally from Pennsylvania and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design (commerical art) from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. I moved out to Tucson, Arizona in 1991 and began my southwest adventure there, working as a senior packaging designer for Lisa Frank, Inc., a firm that produces children's novelty items, many of which I still see students using!
I eventually came to the Gilbert area and began substitute teaching; I loved the work so much I decided to earn a Post-Baccalaureate degree at Rio Salado College and become a teacher, a profession which I believe is more of a calling. I look forward to seeing each of our Cardinals weekly in Computers Special!
