Hello and welcome to 5th and 6th grade Band! My name is Josh Rosenthal and I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. I received my Bachelor of Music Education degree from the UCF School of Performing Arts with a focus in instrumental music.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach and perform with many concert bands and athletic bands. A few of my musical highlights include performing in the UCF Wind Ensemble, competing in the Drum Corps International world class division, and living abroad in Bangkok, Thailand where I studied instrumental conducting. One of my favorite memories is marching down Main Street, U.S.A. at Walt Disney World with the UCF Marching Knights!
My fiancée and I moved away from Florida in 2021 and have loved living in Arizona ever since. We love hiking and exploring Arizona's amazing scenery with our dog Chubs. I’m excited to share my passion for band with you and make some incredible music this school year!
