This is my 12th year teaching. I am a special education teacher, but I also have an Approval in English. I was a social worker for 8 years prior to getting my teaching degree, so this is a second career for me. I am originally from Chicago (actual city, North side) but have been in Phoenix since 2013. I have a son who is a senior, two guinea pigs, and 3 cats. I love to travel, read, and go to cross country/track meets to watch my son.
