After being a sports writer for more than 25 years, I made a career change late in life to become a special education teacher. I went back to school full-time in 2019 while also being a full-time teacher in order to receive my teaching certificate. After one years stints each at Desert Ridge Junior High and Campo Verde High, I am excited to be the resource English teacher at Williams Field High.

My hobbies consist of continuing to cover high school sports for ArizonaVarsity.com, and I love to hike, golf and prepare great food with/for family and friends.
