Welcome to Power Ranch! I’m privileged to work with your child as the K-2 Resource Teacher for Special Education and teaching the 2nd grade gardening elective each quarter. I was born and raised in Southern California and relocated to Arizona three years ago. This is my first year at Power Ranch, previously working in Kindergarten at Cortina Elementary. I taught in Kindergarten and as a TK-5th grade Special Education/Title 1 Specialist for over 10 years in Redondo Beach, CA.

While earning my B.A. in Liberal Studies at CSU Dominguez Hills, I also played on an academic and athletic scholarship for the women's soccer program. I completed my M.A. in Teaching including credentials in General and Special Education for Mild to Moderate Disabilities through Chapman University. In May 2023, I obtained my M.Ed. in Administrative Leadership through Grand Canyon University and look forward to incorporating these skills at Power Ranch!

My family includes my husband, Bret, and our two amazing children, Cole (14) and Cate (8) who are part of our HUSD schools. My goal is to foster kindness and build our community by encouraging confident learners in their relationships and within academic activities. Looking forward to inspiring a lifelong passion for learning and am thrilled to embark on this journey with your child... Go Panthers!
