My name is Stephen Skolrud and I have been at Cooley Middle School since 2016. I teach an organizational strategies class as well as co-teach one 8th-grade math, two 8th-grade English and one 7th-grade English class. I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies and I am currently working on a master’s degree from ASU in Special Education.
When I am not teaching or studying, I enjoy watching sports, especially the Arizona Diamondbacks. I do like to read, especially the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, and I enjoy watching movies with my wife. I am looking forward to a great year at Cooley Middle School.
