Hello! My name is Brian Bertrand and I'm glad to be teaching math at Cooley Middle School this year. I'm originally from upstate New York, but I've spent the last ten years or so in Arizona. I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Western Governor's University. Go Nite Owls!
My interests include Star Trek, Marvel comic books, cooking, Legos, spending time with my family, and math. I have one young child who will be attending CMS in just a few years. Before becoming a math teacher I used to work as a cook.
