Hello and welcome to 5th Grade!
My name is Deanna Wolf, and I am very excited to be part of the Power Ranch family. My husband and I have 2 girls and a golden retriever named Shandy, and live in Gilbert. I am a born and raised Arizona native, and love everything about living here, minus the extreme weather in the summer! We are huge Sun Devil fans!! We love the beach and enjoy going to California any chance that we get.
Educational Background
I graduated from Arizona State University in 2008, with my degree in Elementary Education! (Go Sun Devils!!) I taught in Mesa for 5 years, where I taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. After that, I stayed home for a few years, when my girls were born, and enjoyed every minute of it! I joined the Power Ranch family in Fall 2019, teaching 4th grade. I made it back to 5th grade in Fall 2021. I absolutely love 5th grade! I am currently working on my Masters from Northern Arizona University, in Educational Leadership.
Educational Philosophy
I believe that all the students are amazing! They all have a special talent, and as educators, we are here to help them be successful in all aspects of life,not just academics. Our students truly are our future, and we need to help guide them to be the best that they can be. As a math teacher, I am helping lay the place value and number sense foundation that will help my students be successful in all future grade levels.
