你好！Welcome to Coronado Elementary Mandarin Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program, 3rd grade classrooms! Ms. Torquato and I are excited to go on the exciting learning expedition with you this year.
I am passionate about nurturing the whole child through learning and believe everyone can grow from where he/she is. So, yes, please get ready to be successful in our 3rd grade rooms. Besides teaching, I also enjoy playing cello, jogging, and going to art events. My husband and I have a son (哥哥) and a daughter（妹妹） in elementary school.
This is my 6th year working at Coronado and the second year as a classroom teacher, teaching 3rd grade. My previous experience as the Mandarin program coordinator inspired me to become a certified teacher, continuing serving the DLI program. I have an Arizona teaching certificate in Elementary Education (K-8) with Structured English Immersion Endorsement, K-12. I received my Master of Fine Arts in Theatre/ Arts Management from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide).
