My name is Rene Salomon and I am genuinely happy to be teaching math at Higley High School. I am originally from Tempe, Arizona. I grew up a military family, my father served in the US Army and I served in the US Navy. I have been to many countries, eaten exotic foods, and learned a few languages.
My education started in the military where I learned to operate nuclear reactors. I worked in the nuclear field for 11 years. This helped me develop a strong background in math and science. I received my Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and I still enjoy learning new things just for fun.
