Welcome to 2nd Grade! I'm originally from Waverly, Iowa, where I graduated from Wartburg College with a B.A. in Elementary Education. My teaching career began in Iowa, where I taught 2nd Grade for 7 years. My husband, Eric, and I have three kids. We have also lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and now Arizona. I obtained my Arizona teaching certificate in 2019 and soon joined the Power Ranch Elementary family. I am so happy and proud to be a Power Ranch Panther!
It is important to me that your child feels safe and secure in the classroom, so that he or she will be willing to ask questions and take risks in learning. I strive to provide a caring, nurturing learning environment while creating high expectations for learning. It is equally important to me that you and I work together for your child, as we maintain open communication with each other.
