Summer Meal Service 2020
Higley Unified School District is scheduled to operate a summer meal service program through June 30, 2020. This service is open and free to all individuals 18 years and younger. There are no income or residency requirements.
Distribution will take place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays when there is not a holiday. Times and locations are as follows:
Cortina Elementary, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Higley Traditional Academy, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Higley High School, Noon to 6 p.m. (Chef's Choice)
Multiple days' worth of meals will be distributed. Breakfast and lunch for the day served and following day(s) the service is not provided. This means Monday's service will include both Monday and Tuesday meals; Wednesday's service will include meals for Wednesday and Thursday; and Friday's service will include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday meals.
Cortina Elementary and Higley Traditional Academy only; Higley High will be Chef's Choice all summer.
Summer Meal Program BBQ
Currently the last day of the Higley Unified School District Summer Meal Program will be Monday, June 29.
Individuals will receive their own meal kit for a week, including hot dogs, watermelon, corn and more.
The BBQ boxes will be distributed at all three sites: Cortina Elementary and HTA, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Higley High, noon to 6 p.m.
A live BBQ will also take place noon to 3 p.m. at Higley High.
