My name is Jamie Sheehan. This will be my third year at San Tan Elementary and I am thrilled to be part of such a dynamic, committed team of teachers and community members. I have two daughters enrolled at Williamsfield High School, a junior and a senior. They have been students in the Higley Unified School District since kindergarten.
I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2018 with dual bachelors degrees in Elementary and Special Education. I have experience as a respite/habilitation provider and facilitated a response to intervention (RTI) program as a paraprofessional. I consider myself a life-long learner and plan to pursue my Master's degree.
My classroom is built on the belief that we are a community of learners. Each student's unique academic, social, and emotional needs should be addressed to encourage meaningful learning. I believe a classroom climate of kindness and respect promotes positive attitudes and behaviors.
