    Holding the Earth

     

            In America, over $218 billion of food is wasted in the lunch room each year, and over 800 million poeple in the world suffer from hunger. At Bridges Elementary, 6th grade students are finding way's to prevent food waste in the cafeteria and in the World. By reducing the food waste in our community, we can make the world a better place. Through school data and local buisnesses, Bridges Elementary can change the world, one meal at a time!

            Bridges Elementary has partnered up with local buisnesses including, Saint Stevens Church (Dobson/Chandler, Saint Vincents Depaul Church, and Bongiorno Bagels), to help bring the community together and help stop food hunger!
