Changing the World, One Meal at a Time
“Hunger is not a problem. It is an obscenity. How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” -Anne Frank
Our Mission
Sixth grade students at Bridges Elementary School are trying to minimize food waste in the community with composting, and other ideas. We are gathering compostable food items from the cafeteria to grow our own garden. When our garden is fully grown, we will give the food out to people who need it. While this is happening, some students will connect homeless shelters to restaurants in the area.
