Higley Unified School District’s elementary schools receive accolades from the state Education Department, as well as parents and education leaders.
The schools offer a safe and inviting environment for learning to students in kindergarten through sixth grade, with before- and after-school programs available. Students participate in physical education, art, music and library.
Students may also participate in a number of school-sponsored clubs. Opportunities vary by campus, with options including running, writing and STEM clubs, as well as Higley Youth Sports League.
Families may choose to enroll in one of our highly successful neighborhood schools or seek open enrollment to participate in a program of choice, including Mandarin Immersion, Spanish Immersion or our back-to-basics Higley Traditional Academy. Staff review open enrollment applications year round, with admission based on space availability. Priority is given to families that submit applications by Feb. 1.
