I am very excited to have you in my class and to begin this school year! This will be my 5th year teaching at HTA. My classroom is a safe learning environment where everyone in the class becomes part of a family. We will have lots of fun as well as working hard through the following subject areas: math, science, reading, writing, and social studies. Students will learn foundational skills to help guide them along their learning journey!
I am a proud Arizona Native who loves to watch football (Go Cardinals!!) and Disney movies. I am the youngest of three and have two nephews. I recently got married in October and have 2 dogs named Pixie and Apollo. Along with family, I enjoy traveling over summer which has led me to visit 5 countries and 22 states. I look forward to exploring more parts of the world with my husband! My favorite types of food would include Mexican, Italian, and American.
I graduated from Arizona State University in the spring of 2018 with a BA in Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education. During my time at Arizona State, I was fortunate enough to student teach in the Balsz School District and intern in the Mesa School District. I have a passion for helping my students learn and grow to conquer the challenges life may bring. I look forward to begin this journey while doing what I love.
