I'm excited to share my unique knowledge of the criminal justice system with Higley students. Before starting my teaching career, I served in many capacities as a United States Marine. Examples of relevant military experiences include anti-terrorism operations, emergency response, interpreting and applying complex US and international ordnance laws and regulations, self-defense and subject control tactics.
In addition to serving in the US Marine Corps, I am a former Officer with the Arizona Department of Corrections. I look forward to sharing my knowledge of our multi-faceted approach to corrections and rehabilitation in this state.
My combination of experience and education allows me to offer this course for dual enrollment through Chandler Gilbert Community College. Students have the option to register and earn 3 college credits per course.
The criminal justice program is designed to be a rigorous college-level hands-on program. It will introduce students to a wide variety of career choices in the industry beyond the job of a police officer.
