My name is Shauna Hamman and I have been teaching elementary students for seventeen years, mostly in the upper elementary grades. I have a passion for teaching math and science and always strive to make the content we learn engaging and relevant for every student. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University, and hold both a Gifted Education and a Structured English Immersion Endorsement.
Teaching is a second career for me; I spent over ten years working in a law office before I started teaching. Teaching is much more fun! I have lived in Arizona for more than 30 years, but I spent my childhood in Canada. I am married and have two adult daughters who are also teachers. I also have two great sons-in-law and three amazing grandkids. In my free time, I love to cook, read, make crafts, and learn!
