My name is Nayomi Waid and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my fourth year teaching Kindergarten. I have been in the field of Early Childhood for 17 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Child Development from Ashford University and a Master's Degree in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix.
I have been in Arizona for 15 years now, but I am originally from Ventura County, California - Go Dodgers! I also have roots close to Seattle Washington - Go Hawks! I have been married for 22 years and have 3 boys, 20, 18, and 12. My oldest 2 are proudly serving in the US Army. I love the beach and spending time with family and friends.
