My name is Alison Locke. I'm pleased to introduce myself. I started my love for teaching in college and my love for Spanish and traveling started before that. I hope to encourage and teach students about the language of Spanish and the cultures that the language enriches.
Education background: I have my bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. I also studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a semester. This was the trip of a lifetime. I learned more of the language as well as the culture of Argentina. I also traveled to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala before student teaching. It is my goal to keep learning myself to bring more knowledge to my classroom.
Teaching background: I moved out to Arizona in 2012 to begin my teaching career at Poston Butte High School in San Tan Valley. While there, I taught Spanish 1, 2 and 3. I was also involved in Link Crew, Kagan coaching and coaching Softball and Cross Country. I began teaching at Williams Field in 2017. I have taught Spanish 1 and 2 here as a Black Hawk. I am also the advisor to the National Honor Society.
