Welcome to English 9!

My name is Christy Brown and this is my 6th year at Higley High. I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona...GO CATS! I graduated from The University of Arizona with a degree in Fine Arts and a minor in Art History. After working in Advertising for a few years, I realized my true passion was in education. I went back to school and became certified in Secondary English and K-12 Special Education. I believe that striving to provide what is best for students, creates an environment that fosters learning and produces confident individuals. I love what I do, and I hope to instill a solid foundation that encourages lifelong learners!
