My name is Samantha Peterson and I am thrilled to be your child's 2nd grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year! This will be my eighth year teaching 2nd grade! I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University.
My teaching style is a hands-on approach centered around active learning. I try my best to make learning fun! I believe in a strong home and school connection and that by working as a team we will help your child be the best he/she can be in second grade. I pride myself on instilling a lifelong love of reading and learning in my students. Most of all, I want your child to feel successful every day and to love school and learning!
