My name is Heather Montoya. I am a graduate of Brigham Young University and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with certification to teach K-8 and have been teaching for 17 years. After attending BYU, I remained in Utah where I began my career as a 4th grade teacher in the Jordan School District.
That year, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching and began to develop a love for helping young children reach their potential. Before teaching in the Higley School District, I worked for Mesa Public Schools where I taught 1st, 4th, and 5th grades.
I was born in Arizona and have lived here most of my life. I love the sunny Arizona weather and feel that this a great place to live and raise a family!
