Hello Centennial Families!

I am thrilled to be part of the 4th grade triad again this year as your child's ELA teacher! Believe it or not, this is my 18th year in education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Middle School Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from ASU, and I am a certified Principal.  I have 15 years classroom teaching experience with all grades 3-8 and I spent three years as an Educational Technology Specialist working with K-5 teachers and students. Needless to say, your child is in great hands!

I value your child's education both from an academic and emotional standpoint. When children are happy at school and feel respected and welcome, they are more willing to learn and work hard. In 4th grade we will focus on having a positive growth mindset. We want to equip your child with the tools to handle themselves when things get hard or don't seem to be going their way.

In addition to teaching, I am a mom of two young children, Koa and Logan (girl). I have been married for 7 years and I love playing sports and being active.
