My name is Elizabeth Melter and I have been in the education field for 17 years, with experience in grades K, 3, 4, and 5 and administration. I have a BS in Organizational Management, a Masters in Elementary Education, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. I served as principal at a small charter school in Ahwatukee before deciding to experience a different school environment. Bridges is an amazing place to be and I love coming to school everyday to work with such stellar people.
I am the sponsor of Bridges Student Council and I also run the S.T.E.A.M. club. I love working with our amazing PTO and I am always on the lookout for ways to engage our students in impactful experiences that serve both our school and our community.
I was born and raised in Tempe, AZ. I am a dog-mom to three Golden Retrievers - Hannah, Jack, and Ellie. They are pure love combined with a lot of fur! I have one brother who lives in Seattle with his wife and my two gorgeous nieces and one nephew. Never could I have imagined the joy of being an aunt! I am an avid reader and a big fan of superhero movies. I love sunflowers, thunderstorms, Lake Tahoe, the colors red & purple, and polar bears.
