    Dear Higley High Community:

     
    This morning, Sept. 29, Higley High did have a student make an inappropriate comment during class that was heard by other students, which resulted in a need to call local law enforcement. We take all comments seriously and will fully investigate.
     
    Gilbert PD and Higley High School are working with each other in managing this situation. Additional officers will be on campus today due to the investigation and to provide support.
     
    Classes and the school day will continue as scheduled.
