My name is Rene Roberts and I am so excited to be teaching first grade! This is my 23rd year teaching first grade. It's the best grade ever! I am originally from Louisiana and Texas. Previously, I taught first grade in Texas before moving to Arizona a few years ago.
I am an avid reader and enjoy historical fiction and mystery novels. I have also found paper-crafting to be an enjoyable hobby. I make cards and other small gift items. I've always loved the outdoors and I've started to hike in the area.
I am currently working on my degree in educational leadership and will graduate from NAU this December.
