• About Me

My name is Megan Manasco, and I am lucky enough to be 3rd-4th grade Resource teacher at San Tan once again this year. This will be my third year at San Tan, and I just know that it's going to be the best one yet! I am an Arizona native who was born in Tucson, raised in Tempe, and attended college in Flagstaff. My hobbies include reading, traveling, spending time with friends and family, learning about dinosaurs, and drinking lots of coffee!

This year marks my 7th year of teaching resource. I am so excited to see what this year brings! Before obtaining my degree I worked as a paraprofessional within autism self-contained programs and found my true passion in special education. I decided to follow that passion up the San Francisco Peaks and got my Bachelors in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University (Go Jacks!). I just completed my Masters in Reading Instruction this summer, and look forward to continuing to apply all the skills I've learned with my students. I truly believe all students are capable of success, no exceptions!

I know that education is a partnership of home, school and community and I encourage frequent communication.  I love email and will respond back as quickly as possible, I will also be available before or after school by appointment should you need to meet in person. I cannot wait to work with my students old and new, and am ready to make the 2018-2019 school year the best one yet!
