My name is Megan Manasco, and I am the Literacy Coach at San Tan Elementary. My role is to support all teachers and student with all things reading development and instruction. I run intervention groups, oversee literacy testing and screening, and provide professional development opportunities for teachers. I am happy to help support you and your students with all your reading needs, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or need for support!
This year marks my 12th year of teaching. I found my passion for teaching as a paraprofessional working in a self-contained program for students with Autism and have continued growing and learning about teaching ever since. I earned my Batchlor's degree in Special and Elementary Education from NAU in 2012, and my master's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading Development and the Science of Reading K-8 from NAU in 2018.
Teaching is my true calling and passion. Applying my love of literacy, to student and teacher success here at San Tan is a dream come true.
